Spirituality and
Science
Science and Spirituality are starting to coming
together. Quantum Physics, which Einstein called “spooky science”,
has possible explanations for metaphysical phenomena. Neils Bohr,
one of the fathers of Quantum Physics stated, “Quantum Physics is
not only stranger than you think, it is stranger than you can
think.”
Topics: We will look into how science and spirituality intersect.
We will explore topics such as: reincarnation, near death
experiences, astral projections, quantum physics, Buddhism,
Christianity, Tibetan book of the dead, Neuroplasticity, happiness
etc. We will discuss authors such as: Chopra, Alan Watts, Ram Das,
Brian Weis and others. Note: you do not need a scientific background
to attend. For more information: email
Phil George.

Ayurveda: The Wisdom of Daily
Living
Ayurveda, the world’s oldest comprehensive health
care system, is the Science of Life or Wisdom of Daily Living that
has been practiced in India for 6000 years. It is considered the
“sister science” to Yoga and is one of the most recognized and
widely practiced disciplines of alternative medicine in the West. It
imparts wisdom on how to live in balance with oneself and the
environment and a profound philosophy that conjoins “Mind, Body,
Spirit” as a framework for Holistic Health and Wellness, that is a
practical knowledge of self-healing that anyone can learn.
In this workshop we will explore and experience:
• The ABC’s of Ayurveda and the philosophy it shares with yoga
• Patanjali’s 8 Limbs
• Discover practical applications of Ayurveda for Yoga Teachers and
Practitioners
• Learn how Ayurveda supports yoga practice by understanding the
koshas, doshas, gunas, and viryas
• Explore the application of Ayurveda for organizing an appropriate
yoga practice to balance body, mind and spirit and move forward in
life with grace and ease.
Ayurvedic Consultation
Addresses overall health and well being, as well as alleviating long
standing issues and imbalances. Using pulse diagnosis and Ayurvedic
analysis your Ayurvedic constitution will be determined and
